Two suggestions for new commentaries / Greek Lexicon -

1) R. C. H Lenski on the New Testament

2) Bullinger Critical Lexicon & Concordance

Hi Joan -

The ESV Study Note set for PC Study Bible is a subset of what you would see in a printed ESV Study Bible.  We have only the per-verse notes, but no images or maps.

Thanks,

Ted

Is this information still correct?
The description says it includes images and maps.

Is there a way to legally transfer my PCSB license? I rarely use PCSB now and would like to give my software to my brother but I want to do so legally so he won't have any problems registering and maintaining it. What are the acceptable procedures for doing this?

Thanks for the info John. I'll gallop over to Facebook and see if I can bring that up. Hopefully the chaps at Biblesoft will so make Version 6 Aero compatible. All the best!!!

Try putting

BIBLESOFT

into the searchbox at the top of your facebook page on the dark blue bar. It should bring it up but computers & the internet have a mind og their own!!

Clicking on   http://www.facebook.com/biblesoft   might also bring it up with a bit of luck!

Let us hope that V6 will keep us all happy being Aero compliant & with no bugs.  (Not that I am a perfectionist you must understand!!)

I for some strange reason cannot reply to either of the recent posts. I get a "logged" at the end of each post, but don't see anywhere to reply.

John B - as to crying for Biblesoft to make their version 6 Aero compatible, I sure would hope they would. Those using Vista (one computer left still using it here with absolutely no problems) would appreciate it that the Aero part of Windows isn't shut down each time this Biblesoft program is used.

I'm using Windows 7 on this machine, and it would be totally pathetic to see Biblesoft (actually) bring out a new version that is not Aero compatible. Let's hope the programmers will be wise and include that this time around - if there is indeed another time around.

By the way, how do we find Biblesoft on Facebook - I'm looking for it and cannot bring it up.

I see a big problem for BibleSoft in "They also make it available for purchase at a pre-published price (a discount), which is a good way to raise funds for various projects. "

Murphy's law is likely to operate in delaying the launch and 50% of those who paid ahead will start screaming about fraud! BibleSoft will be faced with sending it out with flaws that they could solve in a month just to keep some impatience users from threatening to call in the National Guard.

I could be exagerating just a bit but the point is still valid.

While I am trying to wind people up, why is a Vista user insisting that V6 be compatable with Vista when Vista is such a pain that most Vista users I know have leaped onto Win7 and are crowing how much better it is. In any case, I hardly class Aero not working as a major fault. We had no other problems with the current version of PCSB in Vista or Win7.

I should add that it is not too happy running in my netbook under Win7 but as PCSB is well 4Gb in size I think I am being a little unfair to my netbook!!

In the PCSB facebook page it stated that it is currently expected sometime in the autumn.

>>Yes Larry, it's long overdue, but well along the way for a release sometime this fall. Thanks for asking.

I see nothing - I know nothing yet about a version 6 (Aero compatible) that has been made available. Is there anything seriously half close to that, or are we to remain in dream-mode?  :-)

Hi Laura,

I know this post is old, but I thought I'd attempt to answer your outstanding question...  After searching online for "VirtualStore" I wonder if perhaps your Windows Vista user account is not an administrator? Or perhaps PCSB was installed from a non-administrator account?  Apparently Vista puts things in that VirtualStore folder when it doesn't have permission to write to the correct folder.

Hope that helps.
